It’s raining in Seoul. The cars and buses pass by spraying water from the puddles, erasing the vivid colors lights that are reflected on the black wet asphalt.

A taxi stops by the roadside and a couple gets out of the car.

She takes a few steps away from him, as if she wanted to run away but without being able to do it, she turns her back to him and with tears in her eyes she tells him something incomprehensible. The sound is covered by the noises of the city, but the desperation and the depth of the moment are perceived through their looks that try hard to meet each other one last time.

I observe the scene from the other side of the road, waiting for the green light to cross the intersection. I close my eyes for a moment and see an image from the past, I wake up and I find you still next to me, it was all I wanted, another day together, I embraced you and you smiled, not understanding why I was so happy to see you.

The traffic light turns green, people start moving, releasing the static nature of the moment, surrounding and embracing the two that are now blended with all the other passers-by and all that is beautiful and painful has happened in their lives.
